Here's my inspiration!

I Be-LEAF in you by Debbie features Newton's Hanging Basket, Basic Frames, and Pastel Basics by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #springcards, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge

I went with a CAS style for this card.  I pulled the striped and polka dotted papers from the Pastel Basics paper pad. I used the Basic Frames die set to create the stitiched banner. For added texture, I cut the banner with horizontal stripes while cutting the yellow stripes vertically. The polka dotted papers kept the different stripes from clashing.  Hanging above the papers is a sweet Siamese kitty colored with Copic markers. This little guy is from the Newton's Hanging Basket stamp set and cut using my Scan 'n' Cut. I adhered the basket with 3D foam tape and added a little brad at the top.  I stamped the sentiment and add a leaf at the bottom.

Hugs,
Debbie

Try A Sketch Tuesday Challenge Cards--Coffee themed

I've been trying to use my stash of paper pads as well as some older stamp sets.  I've decided that if I don't use them, I need to get rid of them.  I've also been trying to make sets of 4 cards. I think they would make great gifts for neighbors and friends.

My cards showcase  the Crazy for Coffee paper pad by Your Next Stamp. The fun coffee images are from The Rabbit Hole Designs.  I used dies from Newton's Nook Designs:  Frames & Tags and Circle Frames die sets. The sentiment is from the Perk Up stamp set by The Greeting Farm

I stamped the images and colored with Copic markers. I then fussy cut the images.  Then I cut the vertical striped and adhered to the brown card stock. I placed the zig-zag frame die on the paper and cut the base frame.  I then cut the stitched circle using a NND die.  I stamped the sentiment on the circle.  Then I added the circle on the brown base. I placed the critter on the frame using 3D tape.  At last, I adhered everything to the white card base.

Here's my inspiration!

Deb's spring card features Newton's Umbrella, Rainy Day Doxie, Pastel Basics, Bright Basics, Slimline Frames & Portholes, Sky Builder, and Slimline Frames & Windows by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #springcards, #spring, #catcards, #dogcards, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge

I created a slimline card using a combination of dies from the Slimline Frames & Windows and the Slimline Frames & Portholes die set.  I then distress the skyline before adhering the clouds, sun, and raindrops using the  Sky Builder die set. I added the floating feline from the Newton's Umbrella stamp set the grounded puppy from the Rainy Day Doxie stamp set. I used my Scan 'n' Cut to cut out these images; however, there are coordinating die sets for both. I then paper pieced the umbrellas using polka dotted using papers from the Pastel Basics (rain and puddle) and the Bright Basic (umbrellas) paper pads. I used Copic markers to color all the images.  I love how this turned out and how perfect to send to a friend who lives in rainy Washington!

Debbie's Halloween card features Halloween Woofs, Count Newton, Framework, Labels, Spiderweb, and Halloween Apothecary by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonnook, #halloweencards, #catcards, #cardmaking, #cardmaking

I decided on a Halloween sketch because I was inspired by the challenge-Two Old Bats. I love the green color of their inspiration badge. For my card, I used the green, spider web paper and the ghostly paper from the Halloween Woofs paper pad . I used the postage-edged die from the  Framework die set on these layers. I then used the Spiderweb Hot Foil Plates & Dies with silver foil to make the vertical layer.  I used the Labels Hot Foil Plates and Dies to create the arched element which I then stamped the sentiment using the Halloween Apothecary stamp set.  My star attraction is the little feline from the Count Newton stamp set. I loved how this came out!  Now it's your turn to create a project using the IPC sketch!
